Founder is Honored in VMI Auditorium Dedication

The founder of Austin Brockenbrough & Associates, LLP was honored last week (10/25/2013) at the Virginia Military Institute when the auditorium in Nichols Engineering Hall was dedicated in the memory of the 1921 graduate. Mr. Austin Brockenbrough, Jr. graduated with a civil engineering degree from VMI and later served in the U.S. Navy Reserves in the South Pacific, earning the Legion of Merit and three awards of the Bronze Star. He started the firm in 1955 and retired in 1972. As Austin Brockenbrough, III noted during the ceremony about his dad, “He was a man of character. He believed in doing the right thing.” We continue to believe in these values today.
