2019 Promotions

Brockenbrough is pleased to announce the following promotions:

Jeff King, PE is now an Associate with the Firm.  Jeff joined in 2005 after interning with us for a couple of summers and graduating from VCU’s Engineering School with a mechanical engineering degree.  He serves as a Program Manager within the Petroleum/Fuels Market Sector where he manages many of our largest and most complex projects and is responsible for several of our key DoD clients.

Beth Rappaport, RA, who was a long time employee of Rawlings Wilson Associates, joined us in 2017 and has been promoted to the Project Manager position.  Beth’s past experience working with and in various local and state agencies within Virginia is invaluable to our architecture services for our Building Market Sector.

Se Jin Kwak, AIA, EIT has been promoted to Project Manager.  Se Jin has an undergraduate degree in architecture from Carnegie Mellon and a master’s degree in structural engineering from the University of Virginia.  Se Jin joined in 2016 as a Project Architect where he has provided both architectural and structural design services in every market sector that Brockenbrough serves.

Sarah Bettinger, PE is now a Project Engineer with the Firm.  Sarah has both an undergraduate and master degree in structural engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and University of Alabama at Birmingham respectively.   Her experience with pre-engineered buildings and seismic design have been invaluable to our structural engineering services.

Olivia Langford, PE has been promoted to Project Engineer.  She joined us soon after graduating from Clemson University in 2013 with a degree in biosystems engineering.  She primarily works in our Water/Wastewater/Utilities Market sector, but she regularly has projects in our Civil/Site and Petroleum/Fuels sectors as well.

We are excited to see these talented individuals grow, and we appreciate the confidence that our clients have shown in them with the projects they have entrusted with us.
