Andrew Swenck is a professional engineer and currently serves as Discipline Lead for the Structural group at Brockenbrough. He is responsible for the technical quality of all structural engineering work and assists with structural engineering resource distribution in the firm.
Andrew has nearly 10 years of experience in structural and manufacturing engineering. He currently assists with structural design for all disciplines in the firm with projects ranging from small structure condition assessments to full building structural designs and renovations. He also contributes his expertise to Brockenbrough’s fuel tank inspection team as a certified tank inspector.
Prior to his work at Brockenbrough, Andrew worked at Newport News Shipbuilding engineering assembly lifts for aircraft carriers and providing structural engineering support throughout the production areas for the aircraft carrier and submarine construction programs.
