Managing Partner

Bruce Sadler is a professional engineer and currently serves as Brockenbrough’s Managing Partner. In this role, he is responsible for all the administrative services including accounting, human resources, information technology, and business development activities.

Prior to being Managing Partner, Bruce served as Brockenbrough’s Partner-In-Charge of mechanical, electrical and structural engineering from 1997 until 2008. In this position he oversaw the quality, schedule, and budget of projects under these disciplines. Bruce’s design and project management experience includes building HVAC, industrial mechanical systems, military fuel systems, API 653 Tank Inspections, and API 570 Pipeline Inspections. Bruce brings over 25 years of experience to the firm.

Prior to joining Brockenbrough, Bruce was the Clemson Plant Facilities Engineer for the BASF Corporation, where he was responsible for operation, maintenance and general oversight of a chemical process (nylon) plant utilities department.

My father was a partner in Brockenbrough for over 30 years, and he always said that a principal's main job was to be a good caretaker of the firm's reputation and to leave the firm in better shape than when he found it. I strive to make this my goal every day.
