Mid-Lothian Mines Park Improvements

About This Project

This project included park and trail improvements consisting of a new observation platform, a railroad trestle pedestrian bridge, replacement of a service road bridge, improved access to the mine ruins, and new trails.  Brockenbrough provided complete civil engineering, structural engineering and surveying.  Surveying included topographic survey of 19 acres, wetland flagging, archeological flagging, geotechnical bore sites, and the mine ruins.
