Northwest Repair WWTP Headworks

About This Project

Wastewater treatment influent headworks at the Northwest Naval Support Activity for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command. The headworks include an auger screen for removal of solid trash, a grit screw for removal of particulate debris, and automatic controls.  The control systems for the auger screen and grit screw were connected to the overall wastewater treatment plant SCADA (sequential controls and data acquisition) system.  Brockenbrough designed the original wastewater treatment plant in 1978, provided a major upgrade in 1992, and added chemical feed systems in 2014.
