About This Project

This project included the site and utility design of a new 15,000 square foot maintenance garage with 20 work area bays and an office area at the Virginia State Police Headquarters.

The site design included layout of the maintenance garage, drives and parking. It also included clearing, grading, exterior drainage systems, and an underground stormwater management system. Utility design included connection of the existing sanitary sewer with a new pump station at the garage and extension of the existing domestic water system with fire protection on-site. The site was designed in accordance with BCOM requirements.

The project obtained LEED® Silver Certification.
