Vincent (Vince) Benedetti is a professional engineer and currently serves as the Principal of the Fuels Infrastructure group. In this role he is responsible for all clients in the Fuels Infrastructure market sector, he serves as the Principal for all fuels infrastructure projects, and he manages the mechanical/fuels discipline at Brockenbrough.
With over 30 years of experience, Vince oversees the quality, schedule and budget of fuel systems projects and is responsible for the technical quality of all firm mechanical engineering work. Vince’s design and project management experience includes military and commercial fuel systems, building HVAC, and industrial mechanical systems. His expertise covers tanks, pumps, piping, instrumentation, controls, hydraulic analysis, and water hammer analysis. He also has experience with hydrant type aircraft fueling systems, hot pit type aircraft fueling systems, truck loading and off-loading fuel systems, naval vessel loading and off-loading fuel systems, missile fueling systems, and inspection and design of coating systems, as well as sophisticated HVAC and ice storage systems.
Prior to his work at Brockenbrough, Vince worked for an oilfield service company in Europe where he designed and performed piping and pumping projects on offshore drilling rigs and production platforms. He has also worked with two engineering firms in Atlanta, Georgia.
